OLDHAM have made former Super League pair Jake Bibby and Tom Nisbet their first two signings for next season.
The outside backs have agreed one-year contracts, with options for the club to extend each for a further season.
Bibby won the League Leaders’ Shield in 2020 and Challenge Cup in 2022 during a three-year Wigan Warriors spell.
He played for Salford Red Devils prior to that, and has spent the last three seasons with Huddersfield Giants, taking his top-flight appearance tally to 194.
“This is an ambitious club who just missed Super League, and I have Super League ambitions,” said 29-year-old Bibby.
“This club is only going up and up, and I feel like there are good quality players and coaching here to keep progressing.
“I had Super League offers but there was something about wanting to help this club. You get a bit more out of that.”
Oldham head coach Sean Long said: “Jake will bring experience, aggression and good back-field carry.
“It is brilliant for this club to get him in.”
Nisbet spent this year in Australia with Queensland Cup side Townsville Blackhawks and only has 20 appearances in the British game to his name, 13 of them with Leigh Leopards.
He played one game for St Helens, where he came through the academy, and previously appeared once for Oldham on loan in 2021, but was sent off in the fixture against York City Knights.
