Peachey signs new Tigers deal

Castleford Tigers have re-signed young forward Lewis Peachey on a two-year deal.

The 18-year-old has impressed within the Tigers’ academy set-up, representing Yorkshire and England at Academy level.

Peachey then made his first-team debut in the Tigers’ defeat to Catalans Dragons on Easter Monday.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Lewis has committed the next two years of his future to our club having recently made his debut for us,” said Tigers coach Daryl Powell.

“He has a rich future and is so committed in his pursuit of becoming an elite professional rugby league player that I am completely confident that he will be a fantastic player for the Castleford Tigers in the future.”
