Rangers off bottom spot as East tumble to wooden spoon position

Saddleworth Rangers and Leigh East have exchanged places at the foot of the Kingstone Press National Conference League’s Second Division following last night’s fixture between the two relegation strugglers.

Rangers returned home with a 24-16 win under their belts and have risen off the cellar floor, above East on points’ difference, as a consequence.

A report will feature in Monday’s issue of League Express, together with details of all tomorrow’s matches.
