Reports suggest Anfield will host Four Nations final

It has been reported in the national media that Anfield is set to host the Four Nations final later this year – as first revealed in League Express several months ago.

The stadium, home of Premier League side Liverpool, was originally pencilled in for the final but there was believed to be resistance from some about whether it should be the destination of choice.

However, it is now understood that, according to reports in the Daily Express, Anfield is indeed where the final will be held, taking international Rugby League to an exciting new location.

The Olympic Stadium is also set for an England game, with Huddersfield reportedly the location for another game for Wayne Bennett’s side during the competition.

Would this be a good move to have the final at Anfield? Let us know!
