New Catalans signing Pat Richards is on the verge of leaving Australia as he prepares for life in France.
The former Wigan winger spent his final evening in Australia with his family on Friday ahead of his flight out to France later today.
Catalans announced the signing of the former Ireland international earlier this year after originally leaving Super League in 2013 to join NRL side Wests Tigers.
He took to Twitter to post a picture, using the caption: “Last night in Oz for a while with the family.”

Richards is one of a number of big name signings Catalans have made ahead of 2016, with Paul Aiton, Jodie Broughton and South Sydney’s Glenn Stewart amongst the arrivals for next year.
