Rob Butler commits to Toulouse Olympique

TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE have agreed a new contract with Rob Butler to keep the prop in France until the end of 2028.

Kent-born Butler has played in Super League for London Broncos (in two spells), Warrington Wolves, Wakefield Trinity and, after helping them to last season’s Championship title, Toulouse.

He’s made 14 appearances so far this campaign and will now remain in Sylvain Houles’ squad as they look to consolidate in the top division.

“I am really delighted to stay in Toulouse for another two years,” said Butler, 28.

“My family and I have really enjoyed our stay so far, and I look forward to discovering what the club is building.”

Butler joins fellow Englishman Olly Ashall-Bott, Cook Islander Paul Ulberg, and French pair Mathieu Jussaume and Thomas Lacans in signing contract extensions over the past fortnight.
