Rovers quiet on Sheridan

FEATHERSTONE ROVERS will not comment on extensive speculation that coach Ryan Sheridan is set to leave the club before the end of the season.
Rumours began at the end of last week that Sheridan, who is effectively a caretaker coach as John Bastian will take over at the end of the season, will exit Rovers immediately.
League Express contacted Rovers chief executive Craig Poskitt over the matter, and while he would not comment, he insisted that Sheridan is still at the club at present.
The former Sheffield Eagles scrum half was not, however, in charge of the Featherstone side that took on Swinton Lions on Sunday, with Rovers going down to a shock 12-10 defeat.
Sheridan himself was not available to respond to the speculation.
