SALFORD are looking into incidents involving spectators at their recent Championship clash with Barrow Raiders at the CorpAcq Stadium.
Visiting Barrow edged a 22-20 win on Sunday with two late Brad Walker penalty-goals.
The hosts termed the behaviour of some spectators “completely unacceptable” and say they will study CCTV footage, with banning orders possible.
Salford said they are “committed to making sure everyone who comes to the CorpAcq Stadium can enjoy their matchday in a safe and welcoming environment” and added: “There is no place at our club for anti-social behaviour. We are investigating what took place and it will not be tolerated.
“We will work closely with stadium management and the RFL to identify those involved.
“Anyone identified will face appropriate action which may include banning orders.”
The statement continued: “Salford are proud to support the RFL’s Respect campaign.
“We ask all fans to continue backing the team with the passion they’ve shown all season while helping protect the club we all want to see succeed.”
