SAM BURGESS was delighted with Warrington Wolves’ performance as they ran riot over Castleford Tigers to maintain their unbeaten start to the Super League campaign.
The Wire ran in twelve tries and dominated every aspect of the contest, with the Wolves boss praising his players physicality and ruthless edge to win 72-6.
“I was happy with the way we finished the game; our attitude was where it needed to be throughout,” he said.
“We didn’t make an error until very late in the game, it was a very polished game which was pleasing.
“We’ve started games well but always found a way to let the other teams in, but we stuck to plan today.
“I was very pleased our physicality was where it needed to be and our spine has changed completely, which can present challenges, but we managed that well and looked very connected.
“We’re pleased with the performance and will enjoy this one but we know it’s only round four.”
