THERE’s some big changes in Warrington Wolves’ squad numbers for the 2027 Super League season.
Josh Thewlis, who played the majority of last season at fullback, takes over the number one shirt from Cai Taylor-Wray, who will now wear 14 following an injury-hit year.
Thewlis’ number two shirt will be worn by Albert Hopoate following his switch from centre to wing.
Arron Lindop takes over the vacant number three shirt from Toby King, with new signings Jacob Gagai and Brodie Croft wearing four and six respectively.
Fellow recruits Toby Crosby and Mitchell Prest will wear shirts 18 and 20.
Alongside Croft in the halves, wonderkid Ewan Irwin will wear the number seven shirt vacated by George Williams after a breakthrough campaign.
Kelepi Tanginoa will wear the 11 shirt, with Adam Holroyd moving to 21.
