Catalans Dragons have revealed that winger Damien Cardace has been released from the club with immediate effect – with the club recalling a youngster from Whitehaven to fill the void.
Cardace requested to be released from his deal to link up with his former side Lezignan in time for the beginning of the French Championship later this year, which starts in September.
The Dragons have now recalled Jordan Sigismeau and put him into their first team squad with immediate effect to plug the gap.
He was currently on loan until 31 July to Whiteheaven in the Kingstone Press Championship, where he scored three tries in six games since debuting in late May.
