Soliola sees future at loose forward

St Helens back-rower Sia Soliola, who confirmed today he is indeed looking to return to Australia at the end of the season, believes he is best suited to playing loose forward.

The 27-year-old is extremely versatile and has played all over the park in Super League this year. He said: “I’m happy with my form; I’ve had to adapt in different positions and I have played in the back row, centre, front row and lock so far.

“I’ve enjoyed showing how versatile I am and I’ve enjoyed being at lock [loose forward], being up there in the grunt and amongst the action.

“I think it’s best suited for me and the more I play there the more comfortable I get. There’s more to come too.”
