South Sydney star loses premiership ring

South Sydney centre Dylan Walker has lost the ring he was given to commemorate the Rabbitohs’ historic NRL Grand Final win, just days after receiving it.

The 20-year-old dropped the ring overboard during a cruise in Sydney Harbour yesterday.

The club are looking into replacing the item at a cost of $8,000 (£4,300), according to Australian radio station 2GB.

“They decided to go for a swim and Walker decided to take off his ring so that he didn’t lose it,” the station revealed.

“As it he took it off he dropped it.”
