Using data from respected number crunchers Opta, League Express newspaper has compiled a team of the best performers in Super League this season – a Dream Team based on statistical fact, not media interpretation.
The publication took each player’s average score (calculated from their overall performance) per game and filled out the positions. Interestingly, only six official Dream Team members made it into the Opta side – Zak Hardaker, Ryan Hall, Kallum Watkins, Jamie Peacock, Chris Hill and Elliott Whitehead.
