Swinton Lions running the rule over former St Helens player

SWINTON LIONS have handed former St Helens halfback Rhyley Hyde the chance to earn a contract for 2027.

The youngster who has featured for Saints’ second team this year has agreed a short-term deal with the Championship club with a view to a possible extension for next season.

Hyde, who had a spell in the development system of the old Salford Red Devils, could play at Goole Vikings tomorrow (Saturday, August 22).

Swinton, coached by Anthony Murray (pictured), play their final game of the season away to London Broncos at Richmond Athletic Ground on Saturday, September 5.
