Ten-try Wolves too hot for Dewsbury

Warrington Wolves scored five tries in each half tonight at the Tetley’s Stadium to ease to a convincing 10-52 victory against Championship side Dewsbury Rams in the sixth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

The Wolves scored their first five tries in just 22 minutes through Brad Dwyer, Ryan Atkins, Ashton Sims, Ben Currie and Declan Patton (22), with Bridge converting three of them.

After that the Rams were able to stem the flow, and they scored through Joel Farrell, with Brad Delaney adding a conversion to an earlier penalty.

But the Warrington tries came at regular intervals in the second half, with Kevin Penny grabbing two, and further scores for Bridge, Richie Myler and Currie, with Bridge adding three more conversions.

Delaney converted a last minute penalty for the hosts.
