Toulouse sensation Kheirallah discusses prospect of Super League move

Mark Kheirallah has admitted the prospect of Super League is an appealing one – but insists he wants to achieve it with Toulouse.

The fullback has wowed audiences with a string of stunning performances for the French outfit, which has inevitably seen him linked with a move to Super League.

The French international, 28, has established himself as the most in-demand player outside of Super League and was voted number one in a countdown of Championship players on TotalRL last week.

His man of the match display against London at Summer Bash saw interest in the star heighten, with many calling for their clubs to make a move for the Australian-born star.

However, he admitted that he was happy with life in France.

“At the moment I’m very happy in Toulouse,” he said.

“But I always want to test myself and Super League is one of the best competitions in the world. It would be a great opportunity if I got the chance. But at the moment I’m loving it at Toulouse, absolutely loving it.

“The really good thing is that I get to focus on my footy. There are not many outside pressures, I’ve got a girlfriend over there and we’ve got a good life going. It’s definitely a big factor. I like to be happy with my footy and where I live and I just love Toulouse.”

With the club currently second in the Championship, the prospect of him moving to the top flight with his current club isn’t out of the realms of possibility.

“That’s the goal. That’s why we’re all putting in the hard yards and it would be a great accomplishment to do that, it’s a big project but I think we’re in the run for it that’s for sure.”
