The BARLA County Tri-Series games between Cumbria and Yorkshire at Open Age and Under 19s will, weather permitting, be played on Sunday (22 November), Totalrl.com understands.
The matches, originally scheduled for 15 November, were called off because of sustained rains, with the pitch at Egremont eventually becoming waterlogged.
Considerations that Cumbria should travel to Lancashire this week, as originally envisaged, have been shelved; the date for those fixtures has yet to be confirmed, as has the venue for Sunday’s games.
Lancashire’s Open Age side beat Yorkshire 28-16 at Stanningley, Leeds, in the Series opener; the Tykes turned the tables at Under 19s with a 20-14 success.
