Wane confident results will come at Wigan

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane is confident that the club will snap out of their inconsistent start to the Super League season, and says that eventually the results will come.

Wigan have won just two of their opening six league games in 2015, and ahead of Friday’s match against Wakefield at the DW Stadium, Wane believes the hard work everyone is putting in will pay off.

Wane also insisted that people outside of the town love to see the team lose, and are already writing them off.

“I said recently that other clubs and people from outside of Wigan love to see us lose and they really do. Some people are already writing us off,” said Wane.

“As a Club we need to stand together, be positive and support each other; players, staff and fans. We have a young squad who need to be able to play with freedom so they can show their talents.

“I also need my leadership team and the senior players to step up. The players have been working overtime lately and we are all confident it (the results) will come.”
