New Zealand test and South Sydney star hooker Issac Luke has agreed to terms with the Warriors from next season.
Luke has been interested in a move back to his home country New Zealand since 2011 when he was last off-contract.
It was revealed that family reasons are behind Luke’s decision to leave Souths. He reportedly asked the Rabbitohs officials if he could be granted a release from his contract to make the move to New Zealand.
Souths did not stand in his way, which has made Luke very happy.
“I’ve loved playing for the Rabbitohs. They’ve done so much for me but I wanted to go back to New Zealand at some stage and I’m grateful they’ve allowed me to go.”
