Wigan Warriors favourites with the bookies

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have installed Wigan Warriors as 7/4 favourites to complete back-to-back victories in the 2014 First Utility Super League Grand Final.

The defending champions will get the 2014 Super League play-offs underway against Huddersfield Giants at DW Stadium tonight (8.00pm) when they start their journey towards the Old Trafford title decider on Saturday October 11.

This year’s League Leaders St Helens and Challenge Cup winners Leeds Rhinos are both priced at 4/1 to be crowned champions.

Saints are aiming for their first title since 2006 whilst the Rhinos are looking to win the title from sixth position, having previously come from fifth place to win the Grand Final in 2011 and 2012.

Last year’s Grand Finalists Warrington Wolves are 5/1 to revisit Old Trafford as they look to put defeats in 2012 and 2013 behind them and lift the Super League trophy for the first time.

Ladbrokes have priced the remaining play-off teams at – Huddersfield Giants 7/1, Castleford Tigers 11/1, Catalans Dragons 80/1 and Widnes Vikings 200/1.
