YORK KNIGHTS boss Mark Applegarth believes his side are not far off beating teams like Warrington Wolves, insisting the difference comes down to fine margins.
They went down 30-10 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, which followed a battling 22-14 loss at Leigh Leopards six days earlier.
“The story of the second half was about execution and composure,” said Applegarth.
“We had enough chances, I thought we created two or three just like Warrington did.
“The difference is they took their chances and we didn’t. We can’t keep on saying the effort is good. We also have to have that quality about us, too.”
