HALFBACK pairing Liv Gale and Ellie Williamson will remain at York Valkyrie until 2027.
Gale, 21, missed the whole of last season due to an ACL injury but said: “I’m fired up and ready to give everything.”
In her place, Australian Williamson scored five tries and 48 goals in 18 appearances during her first Valkyrie campaign as the club finished third in Super League.
The 22-year-old said: “As an Aussie settling into my second year here, York feels like home.
“We took big steps last season, and we’re ready to build on that and challenge for even more.”
Winger Emma Kershaw, also 22, has re-signed for the next two years as well, after registering 12 tries in 17 appearances last term.
“We’ve got unfinished business and I’m ready to work hard, develop my game and reach everything we know we’re capable of,” said Kershaw.
