Wazman
Who's impressed the most for the Lions this season so far? Who would be your choice and why?
Mark
Tough one this, I would probably go:- 1, Ackers - We play much better when he is on the pitch 2, Robinson - Consistantly solid and hard working with some crackers scored 3, James - Inspiration to the rest of the team Near misses are Morrison, Atkin, Lever and if he had played more then Rowland after the start he had, obviously missed him when he has been injured. Been impressed with Rowland in his first season as well "When you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose; it's how drunk you get." -Homer Simpson "I couldn't be more chuffed if I were a badger at the start of the mating season" Ian Holloway
Wazman
I agree Mark it's a difficult choice. I think Robinson has been the best in the backs and makes good yards as well as scoring tries. In the forwards Lever has done well in most games and Ackers has had some good performances. Morrison and Atkin are up there as well.
Colin James
It's not often there have been so many genuine candidates. Any one of five or six could win player of the year. It's great to be in that position.
Little Lion Man
In alphabetical order :- Ackers - Gets us on the front foot and down the pitch James - His enthusiasm and brute power carrying the ball Lever - Tackle machine - he must make 50% of all tackles Robinson - Backs his pace and makes plenty of yards in our own half Take your pick.. I can't I don't mind stealing bread from the mouths of decadence."Be mindful of the prayers you send,Pray hard but pray with care,For the tears that you are crying now,Are just your answered prayers"
mark richardson
Rothwell never ever makes a mistake so let's hear it for the unsung heroes like him Morrison and Lever Ackers is class but occasionally chucks some stupid passes James has been superb Robinson...brilliant Overall for me Rob Lever . Mr consistent.
Blue Monkey
I think Robinson has been the best in the backs and makes good yards as well as scoring tries. He's got a decent amount of pace and acceleration, things every decent winger needs
Mark
I think when you look at Austin, the Hawkyards, Dwyer Butt, White, and a few others in we have a strong basis for next year if we can keep them "When you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose; it's how drunk you get." -Homer Simpson "I couldn't be more chuffed if I were a badger at the start of the mating season" Ian Holloway
Roadhouse blue
I think Lever for work rate and adds some class to the pack. Good Hands and awareness. Closely followed by Ackers who has a good engine and is Smart. Robinson has been the best in the backs for me . Quick and decisive
steve wild
What we do have is a great team spirit. I was really impressed to find out that the lads had organised their own team meeting before training last week, because they were so disappointed with the result at York. This without any prompting from the coaching staff. They are desperate to be successful for the club.
9102
What we've got to remember, this is a new team in it's first season with some very young kids in influential positions. Taking that into account, all the young kids have competed well, backed by the old stagers. Agree we'll do well to keep them all for next season, also remember that Lever still trains full time with Wigan and is expected to shine against part timers. I'll be surpised if we keep him for much longer never mind next season at the moment.

Colin James
I'm glad Rothwell got a mention above. He's not for one second looked out of place in his first season at this level. Mr Reliable.
