Considering the people that have come out and said the same on record its not really just one person's opinion. After a year long investigation and a mutual consent leaving then I certainly think the old adage that there is no smoke without fire.

Attendances are an average over 3 years, surely London aren't getting another 1.25 points on the back of a season where they just crept over the 3k threshold when previously they had 1,079.

I agree. I could support the move to 14 if they said in 2027 and clubs had to provide monetary guarantees. Even at that it needs to be equal funding. Ideally you go to Sky or whoever and say will you pay more for 14 teams and an extra game per week (at a basic level). 2026 when we are now into July is just madness.

Clubs will scramble to get in, promise the world and that they can survive with limited money, then plead poverty and say they can't afford it. 2 clubs on less money just isn't a long term, sustainable plan.

Yeah. We have this in place for good reason and presumably following medical advice. Its impossible to just pick and choose when this should be enforced.

I'm not sure it matters to much at international level how great a coach is. I think it's more man management as much as anything and is all about harnessing the players you have to effectively play as a team for a few short weeks. Obviously they can't be completely useless either, and I'm not saying you are right or wrong, just more of a general observation really.

I'm a Wigan fan and Eckersley has a lot of improvement to do on the wing yet to even think about that.
