  1. Wild game. Cas started great but as soon as Leigh on on the board it looked like only one winner, until the remarkable finish from Cas. Draw was probably fair.
  2. I don't care. I'm more than happy to be wrong. Great fightback from Cas.
  3. Yep. If there was any doubt about the result before that there certainly isn't now.
  4. Leigh have had everything. There were a couple of very dubious penalties in the build up to the Ipape try too.
  5. Just seen the red card incident. Ridiculous. You wouldn't even get sent off for that in football.
  6. Such a disappointing start to the half. Needless penalty on the last. If there was any doubt left about the result there isn't now.
  7. Partly. Houghton got beaten far too easily, but if Pele had pushed a bit harder on his inside he could have retrieved the situation. As Wilkin said it was lazy.
  8. It's really not easy being a Hull fan at the minute. For half an hour we've worked really hard and have done OK, without ever really looking like we had the quality to score. Then out of nowhere it's 12-0. Can't fault the effort, but we are a poor poor team.
  9. We were never going to defend 5 sets (plus a 6 again or two) on our own line, but at least we had a good go at it. That's more than you can say about our performances of a few weeks ago.
  10. Just poor English I imagine. A deal being agreed to begin part way through the following season would be bizarre.
  11. I expect Warrington to win, but I was pleased with how we looked markedly more organised in defence last week, and Trueman is back and Briscoe will make his second debut. I think we will make this a lot tougher for them than a lot of people are expecting. Warrington by 10.
  12. Yeah I'm really pleased. All we need now are a scrum half, hooker, two second rowers, a centre and possibly a prop. In all seriousness though we've not made a signing like this for a few years, and it is perhaps an indication that the rumoured investment is indeed coming on board and that things are changing. Asiata on a marquee deal is also the sort of signing that attracts other quality players to come on board. They see that the club is serious about about their ambition rather than just talking a good game. I wonder if this also hints that the new coach is sorted too. Obviously the money is good, but Asiata doesn't strike me as the sort of player that would make a move like this for money alone. I'm sure he would have wanted assurances about who he is going to be playing for.
  13. Good signing, will add some much needed steel and quality to our backrow. Perhaps more importantly its a big statement of intent about the sort of player we are targeting and the money we are prepared to spend.
