  1. London leading in 4 of the stats (possession, metres, missed tackles and errors) while FC have a slightly better completion rate and conceded fewer penalties. This advantage is reflected on the scoreboard. Is there any of these specific stats you need me to explain?
  2. Not a deliberate knock on there. I'm not rushing off to another thread.
  3. Didn't play last week either. Have to assume he is injured.
  4. Herbie Farnworth and Dom Young pick up Dally M points this week in their side's respective victories.
  5. He didn't. Look how good a combination they are when he does get Young away.
  6. I would pick 13 loose forwards and be the Great Britain coach in 2003.
  7. When the two teams cam back out after half time and the commentary team were saying there was nothing in it and the Giants had every chance, I thought to myself 'no way, Wigan will turn up the pressure and win in a canter in the end'. Now, I didn't post that thought at the time so you will just have to trust my integrity that I was very insightful there.
  8. Terrific try. I thought he could have burned down the left touchline if he had pinned his ears back but why not go under the posts!
  9. Not my club and while he was a good player, he wasn't great but the way Denny Solomona left Castleford and Rugby League left a very poor taste in the mouth. 'Retiring' from rugby league, with two years still remaining on his contract was a farce.
  10. It is a terrible look for our sport, I cannot stand seeing players throwing themselves to the floor.
  11. To be fair, when you have someone who contemplated their username and plumped for ‘unapologetic pedant’ you know you are in for some pretty detailed debate.
  12. I really don't know what to tell you. If you watch Rugby League but you don't think that players outnumbered on a shift play don't deliberately stop the passage of the ball to save a try scoring situation then I am not sure I can convince you. You may be in the camp that doesn't think their only priority is to break the play down and stop the attack - and in fact they are always going for a genuine intercept. If that's the case, good luck to you.
  13. Interesting you have used the one example in the last month to illustrate your point. I decided not to point out the dozens of examples I have seen of defenders deliberately slapping the ball down with no chance of retrieving it as I thought there was no point reopening the discussion.
