  1. Not overly keen on either of the Trinity jerseys this year. There's really nothing bold about the alternative shirt, pretty much meh!
  2. How imaginative?! Played Cas three times last year, nothing special about playing them three times next. We really need that independent governance to actually provide some sort of long term strategy. From the outside it seems this was conceived due to the 'success'of the Eng-Aus match at the stadium, screams very much reactionary, and I think Newcastle, for location, is a better option than Everton which from what I've heard is a little remote.
  3. Very good, but a local garage sponsor, although at face value it doesn't appear that way. Typically, York is that different demographic, yes there are some chavy parts, buts it's a world renowned and fairly affluent city.
  4. Home Bargins is a successful business, as is B&M and One Beyond. Poundworld before it was sold as well. Regardless it represents an image of bargin basement, so people outside of the typical RL demographic will continue to be intrested in the sport who have Land Rover et al sponsoring them and filling Twickenham.
  5. Saints kit looks cheap and nasty, not helped by the main sponsor (appreciate cash is king), but in terms of the other thread why RL has an image problem, look no further than this effort from one's of the leading clubs in the northern hemisphere.
  6. More likely to play back row these days.
  7. A quality signing for London. Will go under the radar but hes a real grafter and should be playing in SL. Surprised York, Bradford ot Toulouse didnt pick him up.
  8. Homes looks like a Bradford jersey.
  9. Well he's keeping up the tradition of the RFL CEO being largely invisible through these uncertain times.
  10. Not sure myself, would make a decent away kit.
  11. To me, it didn't come across on TV, one of my gripes with the BBC footage is the atmosphere always seems to be muted, plus the music played at every break in play pretty much snuffed out any crowd noise. After all the hype, it's bee rather disappointing.
