2015 Super League Dream Team named

Four players from league leaders Leeds Rhinos have been selected in the 2015 Super League Dream Team.

The team, which is chosen by leading journalists and broadcasters based on the 30 rounds of the regular season, features players from six different teams – including all four teams competing in the play-off semi-finals this weekend.

The Rhinos have full-back Zak Hardaker in the team for the second consecutive season, whilst Kallum Watkins and Jamie Peacock are also included – League Express revealed Peacock’s inclusion earlier today.

The fourth Rhino is a new face to the Dream Team, forward Adam Cuthbertson, who is also a contender for the Steve Prescott Man of Steel alongside Hardaker.

The other contender for that award, St Helens prop Alex Walmsley, makes up the front row with Peacock and Saints teammate James Roby, who is back in the team after Daryl Clark was chosen in 2014.

Wigan have NRL-bound winger Joe Burgess and second-row Liam Farrell in the side, with the other semi-finalist and their opponents on Thursday, Huddersfield, having Danny Brough and star winger Jermaine McGillvary in the team.

2015 Albert Goldthorpe Medal winner Luke Gale completes the halves with Brough, whilst Castleford captain Michael Shenton is another included from the Tigers.

The other selection is second-row Zeb Taia, who has again impressed whilst at Catalans Dragons in 2015.
