Kurt Haggerty shares frustration after Bradford Bulls lose in France

BRADFORD BULLS head coach Kurt Haggerty rued the errors which contributed to their 34-24 defeat at Catalans Dragons.

“I felt like it a game of tick and pass,” reflected Haggerty. “I thought both teams were loose with the ball and didn’t respect the ball.

“We completed at around 75 percent and when you make so many errors, they (the opposition) will punish you in this league and Catalans did that.

“The Bulls always show fight. We didn’t play smart, but we always show fight. My biggest frustration is poor errors and discipline with the ball.

“I think it is just concentration at the moment. We’ve got to concentrate better, especially when fatigue kicks in.

“It was (errors on) play ones and play twos and from a kick return, they’re the frustrating ones.”

Haggerty reflected on positives for his side, saying: “We’ve come away from home to France and scored 24 points.

“In Super League if you score that many points you normally win games, but we haven’t because we didn’t defend our errors.

“There’s no doubt that we can attack.”
