It seems the mid-season recruitment is set to continue on both sides of the Channel – with French media reporting Catalans are closing in on former player Benjamin Garcia.
L’Independant are reporting that Garcia, who joined Penrith at the start of this year, could be set for an immediate return to the Stade Gilbert Brutus.
With Krisnan Inu and Louis Anderson injured, the Dragons are looking for a new body through the door – and Garcia, who has found the going tough at the Panthers this year in regards to cracking their first team, could be the man they close in on.
The report also hints that the Dragons may look at deregistering someone to get the signing of Garcia over the line and through the door.
