Bradford Bulls sign Antonio Kaufusi on loan

Bradford Bulls have announced the signing of Huddersfield forward Antonio Kaufusi – and have added him to their 19-man squad for Sunday’s clash with Warrington.

The 29-year-old front-rower, who has represented Australia, Queensland and the Exiles, agreed a one-month loan deal with the club yesterday. There is an option to extend his stay.

“We are absolutely delighted to have someone of Antonio’s ability on board,” said head coach Francis Cummins.

“He is an exceptional talent, who packs plenty of power and presence. He brings further experience to our team and we are sure he will make a huge impact during his time here.

“Antonio has representative honours, which are not easy to come by, and has spent a huge amount of time playing at top level – both in Super League and the NRL. I am sure he will fit straight in and I look forward to seeing what he can do.”
