BRADFORD BULLS will be without Ed Chamberlain for the remainder of the 2026 Super League season.
Chamberlain, who is on a season-long loan from Hull FC, has suffered a Lisfranc injury.
As such, Bradford boss Kurt Haggerty will communicate Black and Whites’ medical staff to see whether Chamberlain will remain at the club to complete his rehab, or if he will return to his parent club.
“Ed has a Lisfranc injury, it’s a ligament at the top of his ankle that has separated,” Haggerty said.
“It’s a pretty bad one for him.
“His season is done but as we’ve always said it’s the next man up mentality.
“We’ve got outside backs fit, so whoever plays there will be ripping into the team.”
Haggerty insists that Chamberlain will still offer a lot to the team and the squad.
“Ed is such a great person, he’s a leader within the group because he’s got Super League experience.
“We are all really gutted for Ed and he will be sorely missed, but he will still offer a lot for us.”
