BRADFORD BULLS coach Kurt Haggerty had no complaints about the outcome of his side’s 38-12 home defeat to Leigh Leopards.
“Leigh taught us a lesson in completing high and turning the ball over in the right areas,” he said.
“We were off today. That’s the tough part for me. We made six line-breaks and dropped the ball four times off of the back of it.
“So we made the opportunities – it’s just the execution that was at fault and you can’t do that and get away with it against the very good teams.
“The commitment was there but the execution wasn’t.
“I don’t like to put it down to the new spine (Chris Atkin and Riley Dean). The uncertainty about whether Jayden (Nikorima, who had a shoulder issue) was playing didn’t help, although Chris probably had his best game and Riley is still learning our game.”
