Brisbane Broncos outside back linked with Catalans Dragons move

BRISBANE BRONCOS outside back Jesse Arthars is being linked with a move to Super League.

The NRL star, who is off contract at the end of the 2026 campaign, has recently seen a move to former club Gold Coast Titans for 2027 fall through, leading to Super League sides eyeing him up for next season.

That’s according to The Australian, which has reported that Catalans Dragons are ready to offer Arthars a three-year deal to move to the south of France.

The 27-year-old scored 11 tries in 18 appearances in 2025 as Brisbane won the NRL title, and has scored five tries in nine games this season to take his total in the competition – in which he’s also played for Gold Coast and the Warriors in his native New Zealand – to 43 touchdowns in 107 matches.

A key element in that potential deal, however, could rest on Catalans releasing enough salary cap space.

The Australian has therefore reported that Nick Cotric, who is contracted to the Dragons for 2027, is keen on a move back to the NRL.

Since signing for Catalans ahead of the 2025 season, Cotric has played 37 games and scored seven tries.
