Carney and Huby miss out for Castleford Tigers

Castleford Tigers will be without both Justin Carney and Craig Huby for this weekend’s clash against Bradford, with both left out of Daryl Powell’s 19-man squad due to injury.

Carney left Wembley on crutches after last weekend’s Challenge Cup final defeat to Leeds, and is likely to miss the remainder of the regular season due to injury. That means a recall for James Clare – with the winger likely to come straight into the side as a direct replacement for Carney.

And Huby – who was a massive injury doubt heading into the final due to a dislocated elbow – will also miss out on the clash against Cas’ already-relegated West Yorkshire rivals.

Castleford Tigers squad to face Bradford: Dixon, Shenton, Webster, Dorn, Sneyd, Lynch, Milner, Hauraki, Massey, Clark, Holmes, Mariano, Wheeldon, Ellis, Channing, Clare, Finn, Jewitt, Carvell.
