THE figures for Channel 4’s re-run of the Super League Grand Final have now been revealed.
The program, which was broadcasted on Saturday morning from 8.30am, was hosted by Helen Skelton as she went behind the scenes of the Catalans Dragons and Wigan Warriors camps in the run-up to the Grand Final.
It was an innovative piece of television – and something different – with 65,000 people tuning in on average to watch the program, League Express understands.
Of course, Channel 4’s future in terms of broadcasting live Super League games is still under consideration with Sky Sports’ recent broadcasting deal covering every top flight fixture in 2024 and beyond.
That being said, there will still be a number of games available for free-to-air with Channel 4 battling for rights.
