Shaun Wane has called on his side to move past their Challenge Cup disappointment, by ending the year with the double.
Despite missing out on a trip to Wembley, the Warriors could still pick up the League Leaders’ Shield and win the Grand Final.
Ahead of Friday’s visit of Wakefield, the Warriors are two points behind league leaders Hull FC with seven fixtures remaining.
And Wane has revealed that the team has a clear target for the rest of the year.
“Our objective is clear now, we want to win the League Leaders and get to the Grand Final.
“The players are hurting, we’ve had a very tough review after the Hull game. Being a realist we could have got that game but we didn’t.
“We want to win everyone of these Super Eights games. We need to fix some things up after the Hull game.”
Wigan are set to receive a double boost ahead of the Super 8s, with Liam Farrell and Anthony Gelling are closing in on full fitness.
