One of Hull FC’s most exciting youngsters has joined London Broncos on loan for the 2014 season.
James Cunningham, 19, is a product of the Airlie Birds’ academy and is recognised as one of their strongest young players.
Indeed, while reporting on Hull’s pre-season encounter with Doncaster a few weeks ago I awarded the hooker man of the match due to his dynamism around the ruck and his superb vision. He made a massive impact in his two spells on the field and will certainly be an asset in the capital.
Hull head coach Lee Radford said: “This is a great opportunity for James to take the step up to the next level and play Super League week in, week out.”
