  1. Well sorry took so long for me to reply. See the thread I just started, Why I ditched Sky.
  2. On another thread I was asked why I am no longer prepared to pay for Sky. Rather than taking that thread off topic, I have started another. When I watch a game, I want to see the match continuously, and in full, but this is not possible when watching Sky. I doubt if Sky ever shows a full minute of live action. Examples of what I mean. Every time possession of the ball goes to the other team, every time a penalty is awarded, live action stops being broadcast, and we get shown, what happened a few seconds ago. A big tackle is made, we have to see a repeat (to satisfy certain commentators lust for brutality). Showing crowd scenes or team coaches when live action is ongoing. All this just spoils the experience of a live game for me. Would like to hear what others think on this subject. Thanks.
  3. When I wanted to watch a match on the Sportsman I connected my laptop to TV using a. HDMI connector.
  4. Yes I've heard about suggestions to extend tram route to that area, but would probably take ages to plan, and even longer to construct.
  5. None, got so fed up of the way Sky Sports broadcast rugby league, I cancelled my subscription.
  6. Can you pay on the day for this one, and if so, is it the same price, and can you pay by card or cash. Thanks
  7. Seem to recall that one team had a trainer, who was getting on for 70 years old. Professional players should be faster.
  8. Genuine question. What would happen if, a trainer was behind the attacking team, who drop the ball. An opposition player picks up the ball, runs in to a trainer, causing a disadvantage.
  9. I would guess that crowds have increased now they are playing back in their home city.
  10. Having recently had a "special offer" from them to subscribe for a year, they don't seem very trustworthy.
  11. Siddal v Sheffield Eagles postponed. Possibly to be played Sunday.
  12. Just been on the website to buy a ticket. No tickets currently available online.
  13. As far as I am aware Sheffield Wednesday are away and would not have thought there would be any more traffic than usual at Hillsborough on a Saturday afternoon.
  14. 2.30 Kick off according to Peninne League website. Can anyone confirm which is correct?
