Excellent win today, Town showed real character to come back from 16-0 down to score 28 unanswered points, all 17 gave 100%, toss up between Henson and Stephenson for POM. We have to cut out silly errors, like not finding touch with penalties. Our inexperienced players are maturing every game. UTT ️

Have to agree, could do a job for us in L1, a player who has looked after himself so 37 should not be a prohibitive factor.

Have to agree we don’t seem to any stronger than last year and although one player doesn’t make a team, Barnes is a miss, heard he couldn’t get time off work to play much last season, something must have changed, perhaps Whitehaven have a better relationship with his employers.

That is a great shame, Skolars have been going for a long time, A 9 team league will just not work, just wait the RFL will introduce loop fixtures as they don’t have any imagination or desire to move the championship and League 1 forward.

Disappointed with some of tries conceded today, losing ball on first tackle, being dragged into touch( which I thought was illegal, however). Overall quite satisfied with season as a whole, but next year will be even harder so recruitment of better players required, not sure where to get them though. See you all next season. ️ utt.

I agree with your comments regarding overseas players and could prove more cost effective than travellers from Lanc’s and York’s, however is anyone looking into RU players in the Scottish Borders, we have had some crackers over the years, Harry Whittaker, Glen Turnbull, Brian Lauder, Alan Tait senior, a great untapped pool with players of potential, just a thought. ️

100% agree , we started 2023 basically from scratch , definitely progress has been made in all areas. Take what we can from the play off’s and maintain our progress next season as we are starting from a much better situation. ️
