As I said at the time then I think that’s the wrong call by the ref then very strange.

They should be allowed the kick to touch and tap. What we couldn’t see on tv as the cameras cut away was did Hudds tap the penalty and the just kick it into touch to end the half. An odd decision if they did.

I think they’ll say even though he went behind him he didn’t impede anyone getting to him.

That’s not really the point they seemed to lose the opportunity to do anything.

Camera cut away so unless Hudds tapped it then put it into touch to end the half. For me that sort of position with no time left find as much distance as you can with the penalty then put the ball up from the tap.

Yeah looked like it was off the Wigan players back.

Why has the ref ended the half shouldn’t they tap take the penalty first.

That sort of pace is what Wigan have over every side in the comp. No one else has as many players who if given a yard more than likely won’t be caught.

And as if by magic first tackle of the game.

If….if there’s any high shots they are playing Wigan when there’s high shots.

Grants one of those players who thinks he’s cleverer than he is. Trying to be cute and ends up giving away more than he wins.

Thought Matautia deserves a mention for his early stint at prop. Considering he doesn’t like playing there he was very good. I’d also agree on Stephens but like Saints more fluid attack how much of it was down to Cas being poor. We won’t know until a few more games are played.

Scott Gibbs he was the ideal foil for Newlove on the other side and was developing into a really good RL player. Would’ve been great for him to finish his career in RL to see how good he could become.

If Hull/Myler can’t see Hardaker is done they are in trouble.

This is why any team in the RLWC should have a minimum number of players from their domestic comp/teams. Otherwise it just becomes an NRL WC.

Both as you’d want to know how the fire started but pushing someone downstairs in the event of a fire is incredibly stupid.

Not sure how it will work with his uk record but I can definitely see the Aussies completely ignoring that and only taking into account his NRL disciplinary record. Which would give him a clean slate to work from.
