well done to powell, finny and zak, well deserved there awards. but widnes club of the year . the rugby league has shown itself up again. bigging them up for the franchise or what. its getting quite embarrassing now.

more than we got on calendar, wonder if we will get more publicity when we get the trophy, if we dont it stinks.

empty stand today aswell at huddersfield for a leeds saints semi. the games going backwards. there killing it in the heartlands to try and develop the game in places like wales and london who couldnt get a decent crowd between them. give it 10 years and ill be suprised if we still have championship rugby.

for me finishing top after 20 matches is bigger achievement than winning a few knockout games and winning the grand final. The lads have worked hard all season as a team and should celebrate there achievement as a team, when they get there hands on the league winners trophy it will only make them hungry for more success. It is also a great day for the fans and should bring the fans flocking back.

agree with that oldrover, the club is doing a very good job on and off the field at the minute. be great if the club could sort something out to represent the club on the towns gala day though, if the players cant make it , maybe send bluebeard or the cheerleaders, let the people of fev know were here.

well done batley, playing well at the minute, going to be a tricky game when we go there later in the season. the way things are going our last game at home to barrow could be a massive game .

do we really want to be a super league club? To me the competition is a joke, theres half at dozen teams that are just making the numbers up and dont have a cat in hells chance of winning anything. I would much rather watch fev in the division we are in challenging for honours, than be 1 of the teams making the numbers up in super league. Best thing championship clubs could do is break away have 2 divisions with promotion and relegation, with northern rail cup as a knockout competition through the season. If you look at attendances in championship 1 half the clubs will be luck to still be going in 5 years time, so something needs doing to save these clubs, cause if isnt leeds, saints, wigan and at few others the rugby league dont care.

i the lionheart shirt was a beutie, the shirt the academy won the grand final in , still got my shirt from that day. got a load of old rovers shirts think the blue and white kooga has to be my favourite though, excellent quality and very smart. also think this years shirt is a nice design.
