Interesting comments on women's sports and you can include all other varieties (wheelchair, pdrl, Ldrl) and you can make a case for those versions bringing little or no revenue to the game, but by encouraging all aspects of society to get involved with RL in all of the various versions and that itself increases the sports profile in their own areas which gives people a link to the pro clubs and encourage more people to be fans. If you concentrate on our core base which is on the older age bracket you wither and die. As a sport we should push to expand our boundaries, maybe more medium to large companies would be likely to sponsor inclusive sports that hit bigger demographics.

This will be difficult to police in any code, it will in design put an end to group tackles. And how do you cope with attackers lowering their height. In union the players who pick up at rucks automatically drive low making it impossible to tackle them front on.

No sarky comments here RL clubs have always failed to realise just saying that a game is on will attract more people.

I have seen Warrington do it in past seasons and regularly promote some games but I believe every club should be promoting all games, clubs should have a fully staffed department for this but usually its given to a club employee who is under qualified and over worked.

Is this the 1st game of the season or just Leigh's opening game, but will not criticise any club promoting games.
