At last video ref showing common sense.

Point taken but i can't see the benefit of Toulouse being relegated.Wakey yes they have escaped the trapdoor and this season might be their turn.The logical step would have been 14 in SL next season no relegation and then 6 teams moving up from The Championship to make 2 divisions of 10.But who knows they make it up as they go along with no long term agenda.

If they go with a 14 team Super League next season do we know the criteria.Will it be the top two in the Championship who qualify or will it be the Play off finalists.If the latter that will open things up for other teams in the play offs with so much at stake.

When did we ever score 74 against Widnes and 58 against Bradford in the same season.I would guess never.The win against London dosn't seem too bad now as they are in good form and tonked Fax.With players out i fear Saturday will be too big a task.I don't think playing rough house tactics against Leigh would work as they have a much stronger pack.Widnes away the week after may be difficult if we are not near our best as they are in good form at the moment.

The view we got the ball never makes contact with the ground.It was almost down but there was daylight between the point of the ball and the grass.A very good ex Rovers Legend who goes to most games also said it was not down.I stick by my original comment.

I am keeping my finger crossed Mac can perform another miracle.But il's in the players heads.Defence is the key all the attacking moves should be second nature at this stage of the season.You wont win if you think you can't win.

I think the Block of flats make the stadium look an eyesore .To think they pulled a good stand and terrace down just on the whim of the directors.I stood in the ground with 27k+ in when they filmed the match scenes for This Sporting Life.The West side has always been a miss mash with the old stand and changing rooms in the middle.The ground has lacked investment since the 1960's Although i support Fev Wakey is where i started watching the game in 1955.The new East side is a welcome start.

All round a poor performance but as i said we need to just keep winning.Joey sent 3 dreadful passes out to Briscoe in the first half a couple of good ones might have ended in tries.Pro players not being able to string decent passes together is not good enough.Much too slow in the halves and too many one man ups.Springer again the most hard working forward and Ferres did his share of tackling when on.As always John Davies worked hard.Mac can't be blamed for the poor passing but he has not improved the defensive technique.We need to get a defence coach in to the end of the season to give us any sort of chance.I didn't think Jones got the ball down on 56 min as i was sat within 5 yards thought he was held up.

Playing from Full Back today he showed good awareness and strength for his try just before half time.I have only seen 4 York matches this season.

Always had this down as a win. And Monday nights game in the warm conditions will not have helped a York team on a bad run.Think we will win by 20+ points but it's the overall performance i will take note of.Yorks right winger Brown looks weak under pressure so lets see what Lineham can do against him.

I can't grumble then we have had help from other clubs when short of players.

See Hellewell started for Salford in their good win in Toulouse.Rowley must have had confidence in him.Like i said earlier i think he has done enough this season to get into our side as he works harder than some.I would not have sent him out on loan but included him in our 17 all day long because of his versatility.

Good news if it is right,i thought that was it for this season and his career.

We all hope the players can put more effort in and improve their performance.My suggestion to play him in the back row might have stirred him.Although i do criticise players from time to time it is because i know they can and should do better i fully respect all players who put a shirt on.

Five of my team mates played for Fax in the early seventies and they were playing Sunday League rugby in the Wakefiel, Fev,Cas League just set up my Maurice Oldroyd.Bruce Burton still holds the record for goals in a match 14 v Hunslet early 70's.Les Pearce was coach and the club was skint(we have heard that before)So he had to scout all the local amateur teams for players to bolster the squad as they couldn't afford to sign them.Fax didn't break any pots but Pearce kept his job until 1980 when Maurice Bamford took over.10 of the Sharlston team i played against signed for League clubs.Much harder today but if we get more playing the game some will come through if they are not over coached.

Yes the winger who came with him for company wasn't bad either.

I think we are capable of playing better but we have had injuries and Mac is shuffling the team about to find improvement.Can't blame him for that bur we need to field a settled side from now on to build for the crucial games.We have not produce a really good full 80 min more than a couple of times this season against weaker teams.Seen some funny results in my time watching the game so my glass is half full.

The fact that if one comes in another goes out probably shows we have spent up.If the players stay fit and we play with a settled team the season will still depend on a couple of games.Leigh have been on top form most of the season lets hope they suffer a dip at some point.

Well i got that one wrong i thought it would be close.York played worse in the first half than at Fax.Batley were very good in fact this seasons team is the best they have had for over 10 years.Bit lucky with the try in the first half the ball was 2 ft forward but that's not their fault.Fev play York Sunday and i fancied us to win before last nights game can't see them getting within 20 points of Fev Sunday.Good try in the corner from the young York winger but i think they are going through a tough spell at present.
