  1. Everybody. We can't accuse people of criminal activity on here as it can get the forum owners into serious legal difficulties. Please don't.
  2. Just seen that. Thanks
  3. I think so, yes. Waiting for confirmation. If he gets an offer, perhaps he'll be back
  4. I've enjoyed this tournament. Some good matches. Arguably it's been a better spectacle without Australia
  5. Ta, Max. Will update our list.
  6. And that's probably the point where the shambles of international RL falls apart, isn't it? The IRL should be running the World Cup not the NRL, but we all know how laughably far we are from that basic truth. This World Cup is run by the NRL for its own benefit as they supply the players to eight of the ten nations, and any developing country that wants to benefit can get lost, because it's not a charity.
  7. Featherstone Rovers had 29 squad members in 2025, but seven players left during the season (Herring, Lacans, Openshaw, Jeffries, Boothroyd, Arnold, Hatton). Short loans and DR signings are not counted in this list That left a 22 man squad list at the end of the season, with Wilde and Barley also finishing the year as Rovers players. Any 2026 contracts signed before September 2025 are not valid any more. 0 Players 2026 Squad confirmed: 17 Players no news for 2026 season: Caleb Aekins, Carlos Tuimavave, Jimmy Beckett, Brad Day, Bailey O'Connor, Ryan Hampshire, Connor Barley, Gareth Gale, Josh Hardcastle, Will Jubb, Danny Addy, Derrell Olpherts, Sitaleki Akauola, King Vuniyayawa, Clay Webb, Calum Turner, Nathan Wilde 7 Players confirmed departures: Jordan Williams to Wakefield Connor Wynne to Bradford Ben Reynolds to Batley Robson Stevens to Batley Connor Jones to Doncaster James Glover to Doncaster Gadwin Springer to Doncaster
  8. Cost is always a factor. And yet, the NRL is rich and the tournament, which I'm sure will be marketed properly, will be profitable. Those profits ought to go to improving the sport internationally, so it really wouldn't be that much of a punt to invite them to the party. Travel and accom costs for six more squads is what we're talking about.
  9. So, be honest and just put on an eight team comp? They could probably do a sideshow Sydney-based heritage nations comp with Cooks, Lebanon, Malta, Greece and Italy at minimum cost if they like.
  10. Please be gentle when you tear this idea apart, but wouldn't an eight team World Cup (the ten we've got minus Cooks and Lebanon) plus a shadow eight team Emerging Nations style World Cup (said two plus six more) have been much better? 15 matches per tournament. Two groups of four, semis & final for top 2 from each group. EN matches played as warm ups either as double headers or night before in the same stadium as a WC fixture.
  11. See the OP to this thread
  12. Any confirmation from Doncaster of Gadwin Springer?
