  1. Eh? It’s been some time since an international at Hull but the last had 17500 in 2018 and before that 24/25k. Should we be ruling out Saints and Hudds before Hull? imo the biggest cause of low crowds is lack of planning and RFL effort. Not sure who is responsible but their roles can be commission/bonus related.
  2. Indeed. I struggle to think of anyone within the English game capable of pulling that off or even thinking of reasons to do it.
  3. Imo the only issue with welsby is this aggressive attitude. He seems to want to involve himself in every little indescretion, pushing, pulling, gobbing off to the Ref. If he can cure that attitude (not the fire in his belly) then he has the ability to become of of the greats. tbf someone knocking him clean out when he runs in the next time might be a quick cure
  4. Me neither. The AFL also have the highlights up. edit: finally up on the RFL site. Probably been for fish and chips after the game before uploading it.
  5. It’s been up on the NRL website for some time Futtocks as has the highlight tries. Amazing the RFL haven’t got a video posted - well, it is the weekend….
  6. Don’t know if anyone’s interested in military history but I’ve just finished A Woman of No Importance. Story of a woman who became a spy for the allies in France during WW2. Ive read tonnes of these type of books and the bravery of those involved beggars belief but the story of Virginia Hall, her bravery, determination etc just blew me away. In my top three books and I would recommend.
  7. I was told, by a very good source, Fisher trained the Dewsbury lads using a stick when they didn’t put any effort in or dropped the ball.
  8. Unusually heavy rainfall over the last 2 weeks. I am about 35 mins north of VSL and we have had the hardest rain I have ever seen, gale force wind and now sunshine, in 3 hours.
  9. How has he gone for Wakey in the last year? IMO Reece is still SL standard - unless there are long standing injury issues that you know of?
  10. If he gets the chance, he should go and test himself. Having a big game v Tonga on Saturday will only enhance his reputation as well nudging potential nrl clubs into offering what will be a large transfer fee.
  11. Can’t even blame autocorrect for that one!
  12. This could be the biggest test, especially after Wanes comments. But to answer your question ‘yes’ by a Harry smith drop goal. I read somewhere that Thewlis and Harvard are to be called up. On the latter, I can only think one our forwards has an injury - guessing Radley with ribs related problem.
  13. I would say that was a good call, especially if he was coming in at speed. He would also come under the ‘biggest nutcase’ category.
  14. And all we have to do is play to the Laws. Sick of saying the coaches, officials and players have exacerbated the problem too.
  15. Genuine question. Can anyone tell me exactly what the RFL (SL or any other body) exactly have done, or planned, to entice crowds to the 3 Tests? Is there anywhere online that shows this?
  16. Worth looking at the comments section. Was this the same game? https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-league/67250912
  17. I’m ok with the comments. Posters are free to feel as depressed as they like. Quite easily, if TJ grasps the ball and Lewis has some support, we are looking at a big win.
  18. Wane doesn’t have to look for much motivation when you get the comments that Woolf and Fonua Blake in the last week.
  19. My 3 choices for right wing would’ve been Young, Makinson and Marshall. Marshall has put a little more bulk on and is also quick and brim full of confidence.
