i feel the question is wrong. it should be which owner puts most money into his club each year. its not that the richest owner has to be the one who puts the most in . indeed i would suggest that perhaps the richest owner put less of his money into his club than any of the other super league owners. the trick is not to put your money in but to guarantee the clubs overdraft ect thus you don't need to put actual money in . question how much has Caddick actually put into the rhinos that he has not got back since ?

indeed, way i heard it was he wanted regular game time and leeds reconned they were well off in the backs and back row and wanted to get some cap space for a prop . this at a time when they were signing more players from other clubs/countries and thus had less space due to lack of cap exemptions for home grown players as in previous years

good name for him. in the south stand he was known as jimmy the German by many. great player to have around in the backs or the forwards. shame leeds did not keep him a couple more seasons. he would certainly have helped them through the mess they got into.
