Having met 2 of the people mentioned here my personal opinion. David Argyle very hospitable nice guy who really believed in the project and was extremely unlucky to be hit by covid and a downturn in his business empire Derek awesome self made person with one of the biggest passionate hearts in rugby league Koucash never met him apart from emails when he pretended to be someone else strange a good friend of mine is in the racing business where he was well known however no-one really understood where the wealth came from. P

In reality he would have spent second only to David Hughes estimated 22 million laid out.

Maybe but it was our risk not the clubs as we expected all the matches on SKY so would have been a good investment.

I think Harry that if covid had not hit they would have pulled through. Sad to see the players in this position though no-one wants to see that,we thank god have managed to claw back some money on the LED system that we shipped over by hiring it out over the last 3 seasons to a CFL club but are still over 150K down the swannie one just has to get on with it.

I will jump in here personally 3 with maybe one other club on 2/3 so will be - points difference for the wooden spoon. There is a good spirit in the London camp even when losing.

Excellent post Martyn totally spot on. My wife commented on the demographics of the crowd ,and said that it was the nearest she had seen to the Catalans Dragons which was interesting.

3000 i think about right 18000 all up oz poms ,everyone else yanks etc. One thing i would add the gap between SL and NRL is bigger then ever yes there will be the odd WCC one off however what we saw was night and day. The majority of the SL clubs would be thrashed out of sight by all 4 teams last night.
