  1. A decent crowd with the dreadful weather we are having. With the good start by the Red Devils that can only be a big positive, and hopefully their crowds will continue to rise.
  2. I don’t blame you. I hate the wind more than the rain, but when it’s gales & heavy rain that is a mare. It’s better staying in.
  3. I was going to go with my mates, but having to pay £28 put us off. The weather is another good reason to give it a miss.
  4. Yes it looks i was well wide of the mark with that gate. I thought there was a good following from Cas with it being a Thursday night.
  5. They are my joint favourite band. I’ve still got the news letters etc etc they used to send out at times when they were based in Leeds.
  6. I’m thinking of the weather SB, if it’s going to be as bad as they say you wouldn’t want to travelling over the Pennines. I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t put off some home supporters, if it’s going to lash it down with severe gales.
  7. SL attendances for the weekend. If the weather is going to be as bad as they say it is it could knock a few off, especially travelling fans. wire v Cas 10,800 wigan v Leeds 11,500 Hull v Saints 11,400 Huddersfield v HKR 5,800 Catalans v Wakefield 8,000 Salford v Toulouse 3,600. these are only guesses, please don’t get annoyed if you don’t like any of the attendances
  8. You’re right Sidi they have to squeeze a lot of games in, id have thought the FAC and the Papa John’s thing would’ve been cast aside but they seem to want too go for everything.
  9. I only picked them Cw because i would like them too do well in the city and i thought with them sorting out their stadium that’d be a bonus. I think there is only one relegation spot in the NL North, and they’re 5pts above last place so hopefully they’ll stay up. They are averaging about 1,100 this season which isn’t bad for a struggling side.
  10. They are having a cracking season along with Wigan Tics. I hope they both go up because i put each way bets on them before the start of the season. They have been better than my other bets of WBA. Bradford City, Grimsby Town, Gloucester City.
  11. I thought the Leeds attendance was very good, it was live on terrestrial tv and the weather wasn’t the best.
  12. That is great for Barrow RL, i hope they make a fortune from it. St Helens hasn’t had a nightclub for years, are they still as bad as ever.
  13. WAFC get decent crowds in League 1, if they get promoted next season their attendances will regularly be five figures. They’re happy with the way things are going at the moment. It’s the RL club in Wigan who are worried about attendances, not the football club.
  14. Halifax Town fans not happy with The Panthers playing the day after HTFC match was called off. How do they try and sort out pitch issues. Football fans blame the “egg chasers - as they say”, while RL fans blame the football. I wonder if anyone has ever done a study on which sports RL, Football, the other code causes the most damage. Or could it be none of them and instead it could be because of poor drainage ?.
  15. It looks as if four clubs will be trying to avoid the bottom three places in the Championship CW. It was a very good win against QPR because they’re not a bad side at all. Sunderland seem too be hit & miss AGAIN at the moment in Lge1. It’d be interesting to see how Wycombe would do back in the championship. I think Doncaster & Crewe are gone in Lge1 and perhaps the Gills. In League 2 FGR are cruising. The Cobblers are in third but they seem to love fritting from Lgs 1&2. As for Exeter they always seem to bottle it in the play offs. The bottom is getting interesting. I still think Scunthorpe are gone, but 23rd spot is a battle between OAFC & Carlisle. Although Colchester, Barrow & Rochdale could be dragged in to avoiding 23rd, Rochdale have got games in hand on Barrow, Colchester, Carlisle though.
  16. Did anyone see the steward picking up the tennis ball on the pitch at Brum during mid game against Luton ?.
  17. I wonder if Leeds fan’s enjoy the South Stand as much now as they did when it was just terracing.
  18. It’s really positive to see the clubs making an effort to get fans through the gate. But i hope they don’t think because they have promoted one round of games they don’t have to do anymore. Hopefully they will be thinking of other ideas too keep the public interested in attending more matches.
  19. That’s a cracking photo, it didn’t look that good were i was stood. But i was in an area with the scruff’s and the Nando’s gang, who spend more time at the bar queuing up for a pint of ######. By the time they stagger back to their spec having spilt most of the lager, their mates are shouting “were the f****** hell have you been”. Five mins later they’re back off to queue up at the bar. Not before they’ve been for their 7th ###### of the night.
  20. It’d be great to see those gates at the matches, i was thinking a Thursday night could put a few spectators off. But there is nothing better than being at the ground watching live RL.
  21. Great comeback by Leeds Utd. I wish the top tier in RL would go back to draws instead of GP.
